Tory Burch Collection: Fall/Winter 2018

Inspired by style icon Lee Radziwill, Tory Burch went on the romantic route, with a waft of boho for her RTW Fall 2018 collection. It’s true that romanticism and absolute feminine define the mood of the whole show.

Inspired by Pina Bausch’s Nelken, she installed a garden of pink carnations sprouting tall from imperfect, mossy grass beneath the soaring, tiled arches of a breathtaking vacant space near the 59th Street Bridge. It provided a grand yet ethereal venue for the collection Burch called “femininity in overdrive.”

The silhouettes are relaxed, yet refined with feminine details. Loose, fluid dresses with scarf hemlines balance tomboy jackets and trim blazers add the effortless vibe. The drama is in the details with new fabrications, finishes textures and accessories are pared back and refined, putting the focus on natural style.
