“There are plenty of reasons to visit Milan, considering that it is a city with many interesting stories. If you happen to be around, whether it is for the Fashion Week or a certain visit, here is a place in the city you will probably like to stay in.”
Milan, as the Fashion Capital of Italy, is a city of premium style, composed with pretty outdoor cafés, overwhelmingly grand architecture, college students from across the world, and even businessmen in their designer suits bustling for a busy day. While we were there just last month, we stayed at Château Monfort, a place where as we walked in the entrance, we couldn’t help but be impressed by the décor and style. The sense of venturing into a unique place was felt, and it was as if the doorstep that separates it from the city allowed us to access another dimension.

Entering the doorway, under the cantilever roof of glass and wrought iron that were designed according to the canons of the time, you can notice the presence of authentic elements, brought back to their original splendor, and novelty of transcendence importance, providing a harmonic integration to the liberty style of the building. It was made clear that each detail of the place is the result of an accurate iconographic research, which drew inspiration from the world of fairy tales that’s translated into wonderful international operas and ballets, this conduct captures the atmosphere and charm in a new interpretative way.
Château Monfort is located in a magnificent residential building from the twentieth century by the famous architect Paolo Mezzanote. The hotel’s view overlooks the central Piazza Tricolore, one of the most elegant and up-market of the city, and of course, the Monforte district, which extends from behind Piazza San Babila, not far from the Duomo, Palazzo Reale, La Scala Theater up to the famous fashion district. Furnished as a Neo-Romantic castle, the atmosphere this hotel served was, no doubt, magical. We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Just like their motto says, “Where fairy tales come true”, indeed.
